Communications & Technology Management (CTM)

The mission of the Communications and Technology Management Department (CTM)  is to provide citizens and internal and external business partners with reliable information and efficient technology services to assist them in meeting their information needs and business goals.

Programs

CTM’s programs support City departments and enterprises as well as residents of Austin and the Central Texas Region. These programs include:

CTECC

CTECC improves emergency response coordination and cooperation by providing a centralized public safety facility sustaining the operations of shared, critical emergency communications and transportation management for the region. Public safety partners include the cities of Austin and Pflugerville, Travis County, Capital Metro and others.
