About the Planning and Development Review Department

The Planning and Development Review Department (PDRD) is responsible for comprehensive planning, zoning, annexation, historic preservation, demographics, and design services, all of which provide consultation, review, and inspection services for land development. We serve a wide variety of customers including property owners and renters, neighborhood and environmental groups, business owners, City departments and other agencies across a 600 square mile planning area. PDRD also supports ten boards and commissions as well as appointed subcommittees and task force groups.
