
Free, Eclectic, Live Music The spring season of Austin's Music in the Parks concert series concludes with a concert performance featuring The Trishas with Hudson Moore from 1-4 pm on Sat, April 21 at the Austin Science & Nature Center, 301 Nature Center Drive.
Often compared to the Dixie Chicks, The Trishas, features female folk-singers, Savannah Welch, Kelley Mickwee, Liz Foster, and Jamie Wilson. Together this band crafts the perfect harmony that boasts local Austin roots. They Call Us The Trishas has received rave reviews and a strong following. Joining The Trishas will be Hudson Moore, who put college on-hold to pursue his dream as a pop-rock and soul musician. Moore released his debut album in February 2011 and has since performed at SXSW, Gruene Hall, Billy Bob’s and ACL Festivals. The Music in the Parks series is a year-long concert series that provides free, live and diverse concerts to Austin’s music-loving community in parks citywide. Coordinated by the City's Music Division and Parks Department, the Music in the Parks series presents an eclectic range of genres, including conjunto, folk, soul, rock and country performances in park settings within Austin neighborhoods.
